At Camping L’Arquet ****, holidays are all about the Mediterranean. Surrounded by pine trees and located just a few hundred metres from the sea, the campsite is an ideal base for combining beach days, swimming, coastal walks and sightseeing.
The air-conditioned mobile homes, sleeping up to 8 guests depending on the accommodation type, feature an equipped kitchenette, dishwasher and wooden terrace with outdoor furniture and sun loungers. They are located in a pedestrian area, creating a more peaceful environment for your stay.
At the heart of the campsite, enjoy the impressive 560 m² outdoor pool with views over the Mediterranean. There are also playgrounds and sports facilities, as well as a restaurant, bar and grocery shop open during the season.
Just nearby, Verdon Beach is one of the best-known sandy beaches on the Côte Bleue and is particularly popular with families. The coastline is also dotted with smaller coves where you can swim, snorkel or simply enjoy the Mediterranean scenery.
A little further along the coast, Carro is a traditional Provençal fishing harbour where fishing boats still return with their daily catch. The surrounding coastline is ideal for walking, diving and water sports.
For a change of scenery, explore Martigues, often nicknamed the Venice of Provence because of its canals and colourful waterfront, or spend a day in Marseille. For an unforgettable journey, take the Côte Bleue train, which runs along the Mediterranean coast through spectacular scenery on the way to Marseille.
