A desire for discovery!

Le Paradou, located between Les Baux de Provence and Maussane-les-Alpilles, is a medieval village where you can admire the old stone houses and craft shops during your walks. You can also take advantage of your stay to make some unavoidable visits such as :

  • La Petite Provence du Paradou, a miniature village where you can see the santons de Provence (500m²) made by santonniers from all over France.

Some places to see and visit around the region:

  • The Quarries of Light: Deep in the heart of the Alpilles in Provence, the spell-binding perched village of Les-Baux-de-Provence awaits, with a very special surprise in store: old limestone quarries that are now the stage for one of the world’s most breath-taking multimedia shows. Head to a temporary exhibition here to immerse yourself in some of the greatest artists and masters that ever lived. Artworks are projected onto the walls and the quarry pillars in the Val d’Enfer, in a display set to music.
  • Les Baux-de-Provence old town: Clinging onto the Alpilles mountain range, the gorgeous listed village of Les Baux-de-Provence is an iconic destination.
  • La Fontaine de Vaucluse: Tucked away in an incised valley, this enchanting town in the South of France boasts an incredible natural beauty spot: the Fontaine de Vaucluse at the foot of a cliff that towers 230 metres high. Venture down into the depths of the abyss, soaking up the charged power of the mesmerising emerald waters as you go.
  • The Pont du Gard bridge: This masterpiece dates back to Antiquity and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Venture over to the Gardon’s left bank and stop off at a fascinating museum that covers water, Gallo-Roman civilisation and the bridge itself.
