The village of Samoëns, "Pays d'art et d'histoire", has been classified as a Historic Monument. Guided tours allow you to discover the history of the village and its surroundings.
Some places to see and visit in the area:
- La Bourgeoise: this ultra-accessible hiking route is a good choice for the whole family (including kids and elderly visitors), and offers sweeping views over the Mont Blanc on clear days.
- The Alpin de la Jaysinia botanical garden: deep in the heart of Samoëns, this garden stretches over 3.7 hectares and is broken down into themed regional areas (Alps, Mediterranean, Americas, China, Japan, Siberia, etc.) and ecological settings (peat bogs, marshes, by the water’s edge, etc.).
- Désert de Platé: A 1,980-hectare limestone plateau, mostly comprised of lapies carved out by glaciers and snowmelt. Renowned as one of Europe’s biggest lapies, this plateau is only accessible on foot, hence the ‘desert’ in its name.

- 75% of the total amount for cancellations notified between D14 and D8 of the date of arrival*.
- 100% of the total amount for cancellations received less than 7 days before the date of arrival*.
