The Mont de Grange: towering up 2,432 m high, this is one of the most iconic peaks in the Massif de Chablais. The mountain offers some of the most spectacular views in the Haute-Savoie region, taking in the Geneva Lake area, the Alpes Valaisannes, the Jura, the Giffre, as well as the Mont Blanc.

The Col de Bassachaux: located 12 km away from Châtel, this mountain pass serves as the starting point for a tangle of hiking trails. Right at the end of the long and languid Vallée d’Abondance, spectacular views await of Châtel on one side, and Montriond and its lake on the other.
