Saint-Mandrier and its surroundings

Saint-Mandrier: nicknamed the ‘charming peninsula’, Saint-Mandrier has clung on to its fishing village spirit. The peninsula is lucky enough to enjoy a balmy micro-climate, which explains the fauna and flora that thrive here.

Six-Four-Les-Plages: embrace the South of France’s inimitable dolce vita in Six-Four-Les-Plages. Hop on a boat and set sail for the Ile des Embiez island to explore pine forests, reefs, coves and beaches.

The Hyères peninsula: the peninsula comprises three main islands, Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. The Iles d’Hyères are known as the ‘golden islands’. Porquerolles is the largest of the three and the most popular with tourists thanks to its coves, golden sandy beaches and authentic little village at its centre. Port-Cros is the wildest of them all, with a national marine park basking in its untouched splendour. Steep cliffs, rolling green maquis and oak and pine trees offer refuge to teeming wildlife. Ile du Levant is well worth a visit too, with the little village of Héliopolis nestled amidst its garrigue heath.

Le Castellet: known for its Formula 1 racing circuit, Le Castelet is also home to a gorgeous village in the heart of the Bandol vineyard, where an authentic, medieval-inspired, picturesque atmosphere reigns supreme.

Le Parc National des Calanques: underwater canyons, cliffs, rocky inlets, coves, coastal mountains and botanical trails combine in all their wondrous biodiversity here in a national park that sprawls over 8,500 hectares. This is Europe’s largest national park to combine land, sea, island and suburban topography.
